Established in 1965, Becker Transport (MD Beckwith) provides laboratory relocation services and the transport of hazardous goods to the scientific sector throughout Europe. Our considerable experience in this field means we are the first choice for many blue-chip medical companies that require the expertise needed for such moves.

Laboratory relocation

We can offer a complete laboratory relocation service including the movement of hazardous materials and samples by fully trained ADR personnel under the supervision of our in-house dangerous goods safety advisor, providing all of the necessary crates and packing materials required to undertake the move.

Frozen product transportation and modern air ride vehicles

Our fleet of modern air ride vehicles can accommodate all of your requirements including microscopes and other laboratory equipment. Our fleet ranges from small vans through to lorry mounted cranes and articulated lorries.

Samples can be transported live in our specialised chiller and generator vehicles. minus 80°C freezers can be transported whilst powered by our vehicles, safeguarding your research for the duration of the journey.

Transport of hazardous goods

Becker transport is a member of the UKWA and can offer secure warehousing for new equipment prior to installation. MHRA licenses allow the storage of pharmaceuticals in 70,000ft² of CCTV-covered premises.

We also regularly provide our laboratory and chemical services to large commercial move companies that neither have the inclination or experience to deal with this type of work.
