Cerebricon Ltd. Obtains 3rd Party Transgenic SOD1 License for the Study of ALS

Cerebricon Ltd is pleased to announce that it has completed negotiations with Northwestern University, MIT and HFMC in order to obtain a license concerning the ability to offer the SOD1 G93A Mouse for third party contract research.

In response to the conclusion of negotiations Dr Juha Yrjanheikki stated: "Cerebricon has considerable experience in the characterization of transgenic mice and this addition to the product offering will allow Cerebricon Ltd. to offer a viable and relevant model for the study of drugs aimed at alleviation and eventually curing ALS. At Cerebricon we have spent a great deal of time and effort looking at various modalities that will enhance this model, in particular our resident expertise in MRI and MRS will be two aspects that will be a very important component of the model in addition to behavior and other rudimentary end-points."

Under the terms of the license there is no reach through to Cerebricon clientele and no threat to client IP, study results or ownership of study components. Confidentiality of Cerebricon clientele is completely assured.
