Cerebricon Announces Appointment of Dr Milla Koistinaho to the position of Chief Executive Officer.
Effective Immediately Cerebricon is pleased to announce that Dr Milla Koistinaho will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO). This is a strategic change that comes in line with Cerebricon’s recent expansion and future plans. Dr Juha Yrjänheikki, formerly the Cerebricon CEO, will now assume the position of Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) in order to facilitate Cerebricon’s growing Research and Development and Quality Platforms.
Dr Koistinaho brings a wealth of scientific experience from the pharmaceutical and biotech industries to Cerebricon Ltd.
Dr Koistinaho received her MSc in biotechnology from the University of Kuopio in Kuopio, Finland and a PhD in Neurobiology from the A.I. Virtanen Institute for Molecular Sciences in Kuopio, Finland. Dr Koistinaho also has experience in drug discovery with Scios Inc. Fremont, California. Additionally, Dr Koistinaho has completed post doctoral studies at Eli-Lilly & Company, Indianapolis, Indiana. Dr Koistinaho has previously been the Chief Scientific Officer for Cerebricon since 2003.
