INC Research Expands European Operations

Raleigh, NC - INC Research®, a global contract research organization (CRO) specialized in central nervous system (CNS), oncology and pediatric clinical research, announced today it has opened an office in Germany, in Düsseldorf’s state-of-the-art Life Science Center.

INC Research strategically located its facility in the North Rhine-Westphalia region of Germany, to be in close proximity to the more than 130 biotechnology and large pharma companies that are headquartered in the area. In addition, INC Research gains access to a readily available pool of highly qualified and experienced scientific and technical professionals in the internationally recognized city of Düsseldorf and its surrounding metropolitan area.

Caroline Wenzel, MSc., Ph.D., has been appointed as head of clinical operations in Germany. She will be based in INC Research’s new facility in Düsseldorf. Dr. Wenzel brings over 14 years of clinical and scientific experience from the pharma, biotech and contract research industries.

Dr. Wenzel earned her Ph.D. and MSc. from the Free University of Berlin. She is a member of the Association of Clinical Research Professionals, the German Society for Good Research Practice, the German Society for Pharmaceutical Medicine and the German Association for Women in Management.
