BIO-COMPUTATION GENE ANALYSIS AND DESIGNThe analysis and design of synthetic genes proteins and their expression is strongly supported by bio-computation. Our process for handling protein related projects is structured principally in two steps, Expression (E) and Production (P). With our strengths at creating the appropriate choice of systems, we check our databases, contact our collaborators and assess the probabilities of different strategic considerations for successfully handling your project once fully informed about all possible approaches. This policy means that customer requirements will not be moulded to suit one in-house expression system, as is the case with many companies. Our bio-computation service is offered on two different main levels. These are analytical bio-computation, and design software. ANALYTICAL BIO-COMPUTATION (PULL)Analytical bio-computation is used for gaining evidence-based information about your molecular system. This includes analysis of protein primary, secondary and tertiary structure, analysis of protein sequence according to functional modifications, analysis of signal structures, protein families and domain structures, AS composition, secondary structure translation efficiency coding usage, genes structures and analysis of gene regulation and transcription factors. DESIGN SOFTWARE (PUSH)We use design software (PUSH) to realize evidence-based functional design into your molecular system. This includes proprietary software developments for designing genes and gene cluster, practical core computing performances resulting in final constructs, gene clusters and pathway constructs for your intended application and bio-production oriented process. Our core bio-computing is an in house service. For more advanced projects we work in collaboration with high-level experts in order to solve your project output requirements. We analyze your protein by sequence and structure with bio-computational tools in order to find out and discuss (with you) which opportunities are open for improvement and to add beneficial properties to your protein by design. RATIONAL AND SEMI-RATIONAL PROTEIN DESIGNWe design protein features to suit specific applications according to a proven design process. This includes rational design by creation of protein domains through the fusion of tags, and the addition or removal of diverse modification signals. The primary sequence is altered according to evidence-based assumptions for the improvement of function. We implement the semi-rational design of focused combinational libraries of gene variants, with the option of in silico directed molecular evolution optimization.
