Gene Logic Inc. – your genomics outsourcing partner for biomarker discovery, genomic data generation, compound prioritization, toxicity issue resolution and more. SERVICES AND SOLUTIONS FOR THE DRUG DEVELOPMENT INDUSTRYIn response to the evolving needs of the drug development industry, Gene Logic has changed its business model. Today, we complement our extensive genomics databases with a broad portfolio of services and solutions for biomarker discovery, compound prioritization, toxicity issue resolution and genomic data generation. Additionally, our reference data may be applied in novel ways to support patient stratification and the development of diagnostics. Our genomics products and services may also be rationally applied to the scientific and safety needs in other industries. We offer access to data, services, and software solutions for genomics and toxicogenomics that span target discovery to clinical development. With our solutions, we can enable you to do-it-yourself, or you can outsource your research projects to our experts. Our reference databases can now be licensed in whole or in part (e.g. by disease or by therapeutic area) through subscription or perpetual license models to meet any budget. FROM GENE DISCOVERY TO CLINICAL GENOMICSOur genomics reference database contains thousands of tissue, blood, and cell-line samples obtained from normal and diseased human clinical studies and complementary animal models. Each sample is well annotated and characterized by gene expression profiles. Annotations include demographics, patient history, diagnostic histopathology, clinical chemistry, hematology, treatment, follow-up data, and many others. Therapeutic areas represented include oncology, central nervous system, cardiovascular system, inflammation, metabolism and an extensive collection of normal samples for each. Our genomics solutions include:
REDUCING COMPOUND ATTRITIONOur toxicogenomics reference database contains gene expression profiles, generated from thousands of samples obtained from carefully designed studies using well-characterized pharmaceuticals and chemicals. Rat tissues and primary rat hepatocytes are the core of this database as well as additional samples from other animal models that enable cross-species analyses (rat, canine and human). The combination affords researchers with the ability to identify potential safety biomarkers and elucidate valuable predictive information on potential human risk and specificity of the toxicity response. The in-life rat studies incorporate classical toxicology endpoints including body weight, clinical chemistry, hematology and histopathology, all evaluated by board-certified veterinary pathologists. Our toxicogenomics solutions include:
GENOMIC DATA GENERATION AND ANALYSISGene Logic is the world's largest commercial gene expression facility with significant experience, processing over 40,000 biological samples from more than 200 tissue types on over 200,000 microarrays. High-quality, reproducible, cost-effective gene expression and SNP genotyping data generation on clinical and research samples can be paired with comprehensive and custom analyses by Gene Logic informatics experts. We can meet rapid turnaround, specialty processing and core facility overflow needs. Our services include:
