PEPTIDE MANUFACTURING

NeoMPS supplies nearly 800 bioactive peptides as well as HIV related peptides and enzyme substrates and inhibitors and custom research peptides; these last can be provided in research up to pilot scale quantities in a variety of predefined purity levels, including any modifications (cyclization, biotinylation, phosphorylation, labeling with fluorescent dyes, etc.). In addition to this, the company provides custom polyclonal antipeptide antibodies as well as research and development services, e.g. lead optimization and process development for future scale-up, custom peptide libraries and custom radio labeled peptides.

AMINO ACID DERIVATIVES, BUILDING BLOCKS AND TURN MIMICS

Our specific organic synthesis catalog includes over 550 special amino acids and derivatives, building blocks and turn mimics, available from stock. Custom organic chemicals can also be developed in house.

Also, non-peptidic compounds can be synthesized on a custom basis, with quantities ranging from several grams up to several hundreds of grams. They can also been produced following cGMP regulations.

The company has six chemistry labs dedicated to amino acids, peptides in solution or general organic chemistry. Development trials can be performed in a pilot plant with a 200L reactor.

The manufacture of GMP grade peptides conforms to ICH Q7A Good Manufacturing Practices for APIs - CFR Part 210, 211 and 820 and EudraLex Volume 4, Part II.

GMP PEPTIDE MANUFACTURING FACILITIES IN EUROPE AND NORTH AMERICA

GMP grade peptides can be manufactured in either of our facilities in San Diego, California, or Strasbourg, France. The flexibility of the production site can be of great interest for our customers as it allows them to optimize their clinical trials and regulatory filings depending on their location. Furthermore, two facilities assure our clients stability in production.

GMP PEPTIDES IN CLINICAL TRIALS, PHASE I-III AND COMMERCIAL APPLICATIONS

Since NeoMPS, Inc. began manufacturing GMP grade peptides in 1990 and NeoMPS SA in 1998, nearly 400 GMP peptides (APIs, medical device components, diagnostic components) have been prepared with several approved for commercial applications. Production capacity is gram to tens of kilograms per batch.

FULL REGULATORY SUPPORT DURING DRUG DEVELOPMENT

NeoMPS provides complete assistance during drug development:

• Stability studies of the active ingredient and/or the clinical trial material
• Assistance with formulation development
• Support with regulatory filings, either in form of a technical report (CTD format), which serves as the CMC section of the IND, or complete preparation and maintenance of a DMF

The North American plant in the USA is registered and inspected by the US FDA, Korean FDA, and approved by Japan's Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare while the European site in France has been inspected for GMP compliance by the French Health Products Safety Agency (AFSSAPS) in accordance with Directive 2001/83/EC.
