Biotage offers a full range of solutions, from synthesis to purification, designed to fulfill the needs of medicinal, analytical and process chemists. Initiator is a flexible microwave synthesizer for fast, safe and scalable synthesis, tailored for medicinal chemistry. The new, compact design of the Initiator microwave synthesizer is 45% smaller than its predecessors. Chemists can load and run samples in just a few simple steps using the new embedded touch-screen control and graphical-user-interface.

With the EXP upgrade, the system can run 0.2mL to 20mL vials. For automated operation, an eight- or 60-position robotic assembly can be added at any time. All Biotage microwave synthesizers are designed to operate at elevated temperatures and pressures with best-in-class safety features.

Biotage pathfinder web - online microwave reaction database

Biotage Pathfinder Web is the world’s largest online database of established methods for microwave synthesis. The new web-based format offers chemists worldwide access to more than 3,800 diverse microwave methods. Using a simple keyword and/or substructure search, it is fast and easy to find microwave conditions for your reactions, along with experimental details.

Monthly updates are contributed from scientific partners and recent literature. Reactions are checked for accuracy and ambiguous processes are verified with authors directly, a level of crosschecking unique to the PathFinder.

Biotage™ snap cartridges - improve separations, purity and reproducibility

Biotage® SNAP flash purification cartridges can be used on any flash system. The easy-to-use Luer-lok® connections do not need a compression module to operate at 100 psi.

Biotage SNAP cartridges are made from USP Class VI materials and offer 7 types of loading techniques including 3 internal dry loading options. Packed to provide the highest plate count of any 50µm particle cartridge on the market, SNAP provides increased loading capacity and better compound separations.

Isolera flash purification system

Isolera™, a new more compact flash purification system with intelligent features, enables chemists to easily achieve better separations.

The advanced TLC-to-gradient feature automatically creates elution gradients and suggests cartridge and sample size. Collect fractions using two wavelengths, adjust the flow rate from 1 to 200 mL/min as needed and use up to four solvents in a single gradient, for maximum purity and yield.

Isolera is available in a single cartridge base model, the Isolera One, and a 4-cartridge configuration, the Isolera Four, which is ideal for multi-user or high-throughput laboratories.

ISOLUTE® sample preparation (SPE) products

ISOLUTE® SPE products are a range of leading quality SPE columns and 96-well plates, packed with a variety of ISOLUTE non-polar, mixed-mode and ion exchange sorbents. Designed to extract drugs from biological fluid samples, a range of retention mechanisms are available, along with technical notes that detail how to use each sorbent type.

All ISOLUTE SPE sorbents are available packed into standard or tab-less SPE columns, ideal for many manual and automated SPE procedures. For higher throughput applications, industry standard fixed well ISOLUTE-96 extraction plates, or versatile ISOLUTE Array® wells and plates are available. ISOLUTE Array plates can be populated with up to 96 individual Array wells, to match the number of samples to be extracted.
