Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is used to scan the body in order to view internal body structures. Parts of the body are simultaneously subjected to both electromagnetic radiation and a magnetic field. These then create an image of the scanned tissue inside the body.
