M&As this week: Woden Venture Capital, Evotec
Woden Venture Capital (Woden) plans to acquire biotechnology company ACCUM Therapeutics Inc. for C$4.5m ($3.6m).
Both entities involved in the acquisition are based in Canada.
German drug discovery company Evotec plans to acquire Aptuit from Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe (WCAS) for $300m.
Aptuit is a pharmaceutical services provider, while WCAS is a private equity firm. Both companies are based in the US.
The acquisition will create new business opportunities for Evotec and strengthen its market position.
