Caltag Medsystems has established agreements to procure both human and animal tissues.
The company has access to a wide range of human tissues that are obtained via the gift of tissue and organ donation for research advancements in medical science. All tissues are donated in line with Caltag Medsystems’ ethical policy. The tissues are available in a fresh or frozen format.
The time between the collection of samples and delivery is customisable and usually within 24-48 hours. Samples can be selected with specific donor inclusion/exclusion requirements such as age, sex, ethnicity, medical history, specific diseases.
Diseases that can be specified include autoimmune diseases such as arthritis, Crohn’s Disease and diabetes; infectious diseases such as HIV, Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C; haematological cancers such as acute myeloid leukaemia (AML) and Chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL); and solid tumor cancers such as breast, cervical and kidney cancer.
Each sample is provided with a certificate of analysis stating the serology and information about the donor.
